Finally, both language papers are over! Yeah! L1 is fixed. Left R5 or rather R3.

English was pretty good. Essay was not bad (at least from how I feel). Comprehension wasn't too well done though the summary was a different case. Higher Chinese was just too easy for a Higher Chinese standard. Maybe Catholic High's HCL Paper is too tough that made us feel that the O' Level paper is too easy. Seriously CHS paper can thrash O' Levels HCL paper easily.

One day break tomorrow! Yeah! Study Social Studies and a bit of Physics.

Jiayou people! Just a few more papers and it's freedom!!!!!!

I guess I have not done anything in preparation for tomorrow's English examination although it is of utmost importance for my O' Levels results. Frankly speaking, I have not done anything with regards to revision during the past 2 days of weekend. Doing those comprehension and reading the short stories never really interest me, in the matter of fact, it is pretty much mundane.

I suppose the understanding and mastery of the ever-so-profound English language has to be inculcated since a young age. Even so, few have ever been able to reach the perfect realm and mastery of the language. It will be futile if I were to start learning and understanding the complexity of the English language since the learning of the language seemed interminable. Therefore, I guess it is not effective for me to do last minute practice or reading for English since my result of tomorrow's paper has somewhat been fixed. Furthermore, I suppose it's predestined? Though personally, I never believe in the control of Man by fate.

Considering the time now, I think I should try to sleep so that I will not be too tired for tomorrow's paper. Besides writing this post in such formality, I guess all I can do now is to pray to God to grant me his infinite wisdom and confidence for the paper tomorrow and shower his blessings upon every one of us sitting for the examination.

Good luck to all for the O' Level Examinations!

One week of O's down! Yeah! 2 of my most worried papers down, namely Geography Paper 2 and Modern World History! Yeah!

So Amaths was pretty fine. Paper 1 a little screwed up somehow but got marks back in Paper 2. =D Then had Chemistry. Maybe lost some marks due to the organic chemistry definition but other than that, everything else should be fine.

Then comes Geography. This year's paper really super weird. Feel like slapping the person who set the paper. Fused plate tectonics with weathering and Population with Agriculture. What kind of combination is this man!? Tectonics came out rift valley. Wasn't too confident in answering that question so in the end i decided to do the pure rivers question which was pretty much a breeze as much of it had been gone through by the teachers in Prelim 3.

Going on the section B. The only human geography that I studied and banked was population but for some unforeseen reasons, agriculture just came running along with it. -.- Then I flipped to the last page and found out that population came out again. This time, population came running along with development! I guess our dear Ms/Mr Population had lost its way when the paper was set and came out in 2 ends of the human geography section.

Fortunately, I studied a little of urban settlement with Shouheng that morning though it was a little rush. I managed to remember most of the points as I had done this chapter just this year, therefore, the question that I attempted was pretty ok to me. Furthermore, the first part of the question was give away by asking us to just lift from the newspaper article given with the third part asking us to describe some graphs which was just too easy. So actually I have to thank Shouheng for helping me out with my settlement. Thanks Shouheng!!! =))

For History, really take off my hat for Mr Krishnan. Spotting so accurate. Haha. Early Russia for source-based. Early China, Japan and Fall of communism for essays. Did the Japan essay. Other than forgetting 1 main point for the reasons of Japan's invasion of Pearl Harbour, I think the whole History paper was fine. =))

So am hoping for 2 A1s for both my humanities and also for Amaths and Chemistry (which should not be a problem anyway =P).

Up Next, We have ...

Monday:
English Paper 1
English Paper 2
Maths Paper 1

Tuesday:
Maths Paper 2

Wednesday:
Higher Chinese Paper 1
Higher Chinese Paper 2

Time flies. It had been 4 years. It may be long but it seems so short.

4 years ago, I was just a 13-year old, within the crowd of uniforms with its unique metal buttons and green shorts. The youngest group of all, thinking about how to get pass the upcoming 4 years in this place I did not even want to come. Ignorant and naive I may be, it was all about school work and grades.

Took up Volleyball. Well, it was a good start for my 4 years. Ms Kwok, then she was, how can I ever forget her, the person who wrote a new chapter in my life. It started out well. 10 individuals. Training was hard. School work always seemed so mundane. Chairman wasn't an easy task either. I wondered if I made the wrong choice of coming to this place.

A year passed. Had a new class, new environment, new friends, another round of ice-breaking? Harder trainings. More school work. Then came the 'infamous' Tablet PC. Hmm... Innovative way of learning perhaps. Brought us all into a new virtual world. CS,Dota and Maple sounded so common.

Sports became an important part of my life. More came in. We were the seniors. Results weren't fantastic or up to expectation. Injuries followed, many of them, fortunately after the season ended. Experienced what is like to be trapped at home for 2 months. Back with the enormous task. To catch up in both sports and academic. A purpose began to reside in my life.

2 years passed. With the same classmates and friends. Some left but life has to carry on? Began to know each other better. More school work. More subjects. 10. Seemed as if a mountain was on my shoulders. Season wasn't too great, neither were my grades. In fact, they were quite bad for a start of the year. Ms Kwok left. Came a 'Mrs' instead. Heck about her and so she left. Came back a "Ms".

Got into the quick pace of work. My grades were picking up. Expectations were met. In fact exceeded. Handed in a nice report book to end the year. Got to know more juniors. Seemed as if I was taken over by sports. Training till 9pm seemed a norm. Parents said "Why are you always so late". "Training" was my answer. It never failed to be. Knew my teammates better. After all, 3 years passed.

It was not too long after that there was only a year left. Many things happened. Season started. Fantastic results to start off the year. Maybe not for my grades. Blew me off-balance. Fallen but stood back up. Could not have done it if it was not for my friends and teachers.

Many things happened. Everything seemed like as if it was a roller-coaster ride. 4 years just passes by, as if with just a blink of an eye. Tomorrow will be the last day, with all my friends, classmates, teammates, teachers, the school. Nothing seemed to be more important than any of these.

4 years. 16. Grown. Matured. I learnt many precious lessons, not only from the textbooks, also from life. It was this 4 years that I truly experience the happiest times of my life. Even with the quarrels, disagreements, there were those countless moments we had together, classmates, teammates, teachers.

When I was down, you cared for me. When I was fallen, you carried me up. When I was happy, you rejoiced with me. Everything seemed so simple. But I appreciate it. Really.

There comes a time, when all these would be 'lost'. Here it is. Many of us will go our separate ways. After 4 years, our friendship has grown, deeper and stronger. Without you, I will not be what I am today.

10 years in this place. Gentleman, bilingual scholar of high integrity and robust character who is passionate about life learning and service to others.

Being the one and only group of sec4s wearing shorts, I am proud of it.

Coming to think of what I thought 4 years ago, I know I made the right choice of coming to Catholic High.

For Catholic High. For all my teachers. For all my friends. For my teammates. For 4-10. Thank you.

Weekend! Piles and piles of homework waiting for me. >.<

Went to school in the morning for English Paper 1 mock paper. Topic was "Victory". Felt that my story was not too bad (at least from how I feel). Not much flowery language or bombastic words. Just managed to bring my story and feelings of the character the way I wanted to.

Many went VJ open house after that. Well, I decided that I'd rather go home and take a nap since it was in the East Coast and traveling to and fro would have resulted in 2 hours.

Slacky day. Slacky me.

Now, let's see what's on my list for this weekend.

Social Studies Essay and Source-based
Physics papers
English comprehension

That's all I can remember for now. Try and finish the first 2. The last one ... If I have the time.

Last week of school as a CHS student. Friday is farewell assembly. I'm seriously going to miss Cat High. =(

Just came back home from the library. It has been some time ever since I went to the library to study until so late. Well, for the sake of my 2 beloved juniors' A Maths End Of Year Exams tomorrow, I have to go through some of the topics with them so that they would not flunk to badly and hopefully score good grades (A1). Don't disappoint me and waste my session with you ah!

Today was kind of draining for the mind. Physics wasn't too bad. Just SPA so actually it's quite slack. Social Studies lesson was slack too but the homework is not. >.< Maths did paper as usual. History go through SBQ. Biology did a Section A Paper 2 but Ms Saras left halfway due to some reason so we just went back to class. After school had a A Maths mock paper. Finished the paper in 1 hour but had to stone for another hour before I could leave. -.- Then went straight to library to have the session with my juniors.

Ok... Didn't sound that draining but it's a very long day to begin with. Argh. Weekend quickly come so I can rest. >.<

Tomorrow 3 periods of Physics?!! Argh!! Afternoon have English mock Paper 1?!?! ARGH!!! Double sian-ness!!! >.<

This is definitely one of the few days that I didn't sleep in the afternoon. Furthermore, it's a weekday!! But I didn't do any work even without taking nap. Should have just spent my time sleeping. >.<

Managed to dig out some primary school photos. Just some class photos when I was about primary 3 and 6. Have Leo's and Tim's P3 and 6 photo and also Ben Oh's, Nicholas' and Joshua's P6 photos. Haha. Seriously Leo is damn chubby and cute when he was in P3! I bet everyone who never seen the photo before will be damn shocked. Haha. Will bring the photos tomorrow.

Work for today:

2 Maths papers
1 Physics paper
1 English paper 1

I guess that's all for today. Time to get back to work.

Try to have a session or 2 these few days with the sec3s to help them with their End of Year. But my schedule for the next few days also not very free. I think there's something to do tomorrow afternoon and there's maths mock paper on Thursday. Shit... >.<

Though I'm not celebrating children's day since like 4 years ago, still wish all children a happy children's day! Haha.

So today was pretty slack, nothing much to be done in school. Reached school just to see everyone watching Secret. Frankly speaking, I was pretty shocked when I stepped into the class. Haha. But I guess I was not the only one who was shocked.

Physics went through some MCQ questions and the 2005 paper. Then Ms Chong came in to give us the afternoon work so we don't have to stay back. But I guess no one stayed back for the past few sessions besides mainly people from our class. English wasn't too boring. Went through some comprehension. Geography did some going through of the Jun 07 paper.

All these things just seem to be going on everyday...

Social Studies Essay Test was just pure screw up. Lol! Didn't study for the test totally. Maybe I did if you count browsing through notes as studying. Haha. My 2nd essay wasn't too bad but my 1st one was just pure crapping through.

Some stayed back to watch Secret after school. Stayed for a little while before heading back home. As all of you can guess, Me sleep from 5 to 930. Haha. As Samuel always say that's part of my agenda of the day.
