Not really in a mood to blog now but I have to write something here to fulfill someone's request. LOL! Actually I'm just a little lazy to blog these days, not that there's nothing to blog about.

Comex '08! Who wants to go with me!! I want a notebook, camera, printer, mp3, speakers, etc etc etc. Haha!! I just want everything that's there. =P

Teacher's day coming too! Didn't buy anything for secondary school teachers. Shit. I feel very bad. >.< maybe I should at least get something to give them this Friday.

Promos coming in 3 weeks time! Somehow I'm not feeling any stress or anxiety. Haha. Okay, that's normal for me. =P Who wants to go to school to mug during the holidays!

Supposed to be doing work like Econs and Chem tutorials but end up slacking and chatting. Haha. Okay. Tomorrow morning will be a busy time for me. XD

Haven't been updating this place for quite some time. There were too many activities for me to list so I shan't bother about them. A little food for thought here. Haha.

It's a wonder (to me at least) why people only cherish what they have only after they have lost it. Human beings are often said to be the supreme creature on this planet for their ability to think and be rational. For this reason, then why can't people treasure what they possess when they have it? Perhaps people have to be taught the pain and torture of losing before they actually learn. I'm not implying that I don't commit the above mistakes though. Or are they mistakes in the first place?

For more often than not, we don't realise the value of the things we have in our hands until it's lost. Like how important to us our friends and family might be. Taking things for granted all the time as they are always with us. Until there comes a time when they left us, then we start thinking of what we could have done before. They may be very simple things like saying a "hi" to the people around you when you meet them or helping your mum with the laundry. These things are often just ignored and not bothered with the thought that "there is always another time".

Then what if there isn't going to be another time? My mum once told me about a guy who told her when trying to woo her. He said "Opportunity knocks but once". Kind of irritating and owing people a smack on his face. At the same time it makes sense. I'm sure many have heard the question "What if you're going to die tomorrow, what would you do today?" (or other variations of it). I'm not too sure about the statement of "living life as if you're going to leave the very next day". Perhaps it does teach people that we should treasure everything that we have at the moment for they might not be there for you at the very next.

Friends are often taken for granted. Most of us, if not all, don't realise how important our friends are to all of us. Many might ask how can we find true friendship in this often phony and temporary world? I'm sure there is and I'm sure there are many who concur.

"A false friend and a shadow stay around only while the sun shines." True friends involves relationship, freedom of choice, accountibility, truth and forgvieness. True friendship takes time. In true friendship, there is no backbiting, no negative thoughts, no turning away. In true friendship, there's unconditional love. Best friends are not to be found with a snap of a finger. The friendship is developed over time. At some point of time, when it faces problems, do remember that for whatever they do, they love you no matter what and always want the best for you. Treasure it. Don't lose it.

In case all of you out there might be wondering, I'm not emo-ing. Haha. It's just that some recent incidents made me recollect memories and ponder on this topic though there's no direct link to the incidents.

Perhaps I should go help my mum with the laundry now. =)
